The Professional Standards Councils have released their 2024–25 Annual Report, outlining key achievements and activities over the past financial year.
This year’s report highlights the Councils’ continued focus on supporting occupational associations to enhance professional standards and strengthen consumer protection.
Notable milestones include the approval of seven new professional standards schemes, the expansion of scheme participation to over 100,000 members, and the publication of the final industry report from the ARC Linkage Project on Constructing Building Integrity: Raising Standards Through Professionalism.
The report also reflects on strategic engagement with stakeholders, improvements to regulatory processes, and the Councils’ forward-looking agenda as they begin developing a new strategic plan to succeed Strategy 2025.
